Logic Subtractive Synthesis

In this Logic Pro tutorial series we will take a look at Logic Pro’s ES1 basic analog subtractive synthesizer. The ES1 virtual instrument is perfect for learning how the basic building blocks of subtractive synthesis are used to create sounds.

You will learn how to use the oscillators, filter, amplifier, and modifiers LFO and envelops to create sound! We will also explore how to create basic sound effects such as helicopter sounds and how to create analog drum sounds using the ES1.

This tutorial series assumes you know how to add a virtual instrument track in Logic Pro and can get MIDI and sound working.
